Winter Watch is a status check-in as needed to ensure your pool cover is secure and water chemistry is balanced. See below for what we include in our pool winter watch visit:
Pool Cover Inspection
Inspect for tears or holes and confirm fasteners/weights are secure. Removal of any debris, such as leaves or branches, as well as standing water, snow, or ice on top of your cover.
A pool pump is utilized to remove the excess water weighing down a solid cover.
Water Chemistry Testing
Monitor water levels. Falling water levels might indicate a leak in the pool, while rising water levels may require draining water from the pool to prevent possible damage to tile and coping.
Test water chemistry and observe color to determine if additional chemicals are needed. If added, the water is then circulated by a submersible pump to avoid chemical concentration in only one area of the pool.
